About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality video content.

This position will start as Temporarily Remote. Once our physical office setup in Bangalore is ready, the position will transition into a standard In-Office role in Bangalore. During the initial remote phase, candidates will be required to install company-approved activity and time-tracking monitoring software on their work machines.

Key Responsibilities

- Short-Form Content: Craft fast-paced, hook-driven short-form videos for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts using dynamic cuts, kinetic typography, trending audio, and sound design.
- Long-Form Content: Structure, edit, and finish long-form YouTube videos, podcasts, or corporate features with strong narrative flow and audience retention mechanics.
- Post-Production: Perform professional color grading, multi-track audio mixing, visual effects (VFX), and motion graphics.
- Asset & Workflow Management: Manage high-volume media assets, organize project files, and maintain seamless version control.
- Collaboration: Work closely with content strategists and marketing leads to execute creative briefs and implement feedback efficiently.

Skill Set Requirements: Core Technical Skills

- Video Editing Suites: Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Motion Graphics & VFX: Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for animated titles, lower thirds, logo reveals, and callouts.
- Audio Engineering: Proficiency in Audition or Premiere/DaVinci audio tools (noise reduction, EQ,



dialogue balancing, sound design).
- Color Grading: Solid understanding of color correction, LUTs, and color grading in DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Lumetri Color.
- Design & Thumbnails: Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator for creating eye-catching YouTube thumbnails and graphic overlays.

Content & Strategy Skills

- Retention Editing: Ability to maintain high watch time through strategic pacing, B-roll selection, visual hooks, and pattern interrupts.
- Social Trends: Strong pulse on current social media trends, viral editing formats, and platform-specific guidelines.
- Storytelling: Strong understanding of pacing, narrative structure, and emotional beats in both short and long formats.

Qualifications & Prerequisites

- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of professional video editing experience in an agency, media company, or dedicated content team.
- Portfolio/Showreel: A comprehensive portfolio or showreel highlighting short-form (Reels/Shorts) and long-form (YouTube) work is mandatory.
- Workstation Hardware: A high-performance PC/Mac capable of rendering 4K footage without lag during the remote phase.
- Tracking Software: Agreement to run company-approved time/activity-tracking software during remote work hours.
- Location: Readiness to transition to full-time work from our Bangalore office upon completion of setup.

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹420,000.00 per month
