nRole Overview

nThe Vice President – Operations will be responsible for the overall operational performance of

nour client's Accounting, Tax, Payroll, Compliance and CFO Services functions.

nThis is a strategic leadership role responsible for building scalable operating systems,

nstrengthening service delivery, improving productivity and quality, developing operational

ntalent, and driving technology-enabled transformation across the organization.

nThe ideal candidate will combine strong operational leadership with a deep understanding of finance and accounting services, preferably within a U.S. accounting, tax, payroll, compliance, outsourcing, BPO, CAS or professional services environment.

nThe VP – Operations will work closely with the Founder/CEO, functional leaders, Product and

nTechnology teams, and Client Success/Sales teams to translate business objectives into effective

noperational execution.

n

nKey Responsibilities

nOperations Strategy: Develop and execute scalable operations strategies across

nAccounting, Tax, Payroll, Compliance and CFO Services.

nService Delivery: Oversee end-to-end service delivery, ensuring high standards of

nquality, accuracy, timeliness and client satisfaction.

n Process & Automation: Standardize processes, improve operational efficiency and

ndrive automation in partnership with Product and Technology teams.

n People Leadership: Build, lead and develop high-performing operations teams,

nmanagers and functional leaders.

n Performance Management:



Establish operational KPIs and dashboards to monitor

nproductivity, quality, SLAs, capacity and profitability.

n Capacity & Scalability: Lead workforce planning and operational readiness to

nsupport business growth and seasonal demand.

n& Risk: Strengthen quality-control frameworks, operational controls and

ncompliance processes.

n Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with the CEO, Sales, Client Success,

nFinance, HR, Product and Technology teams to achieve business objectives.

n Continuous Improvement: Identify operational gaps and implement initiatives that

nimprove efficiency, client experience and overall business performance.

nRequired Qualifications & Experience

n Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.

n CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

n 10+ years of progressive experience, with significant experience in operations

nleadership.

n Proven experience leading large, multi-functional teams in accounting, tax, payroll,

ncompliance, finance outsourcing, BPO, CAS or professional services(Big 4 candidates

npreferred)

n Strong understanding of U.S. accounting, taxation, payroll and compliance

noperations.





n Experience managing U.S.-based clients or U.S.-focused service delivery teams.

n Demonstrated experience in scaling operations within a high-growth organization.

n Strong understanding of operational metrics, workforce planning, quality management

nand process improvement.

n Experience working with technology/product teams to automate operational

nworkflows.

n Strong commercial understanding, including cost management, productivity and

nservice-line profitability.

nPreferred Experience

n Experience in a U.S. accounting firm, CAS practice, tax outsourcing organization,

nfinance BPO or technology-enabled accounting services company.

n Experience managing multiple service lines simultaneously.

n Experience implementing ERP, accounting, workflow or compliance technology.

n Experience building operations from an early-stage or rapidly scaling setting.

n Familiarity with platforms such as QuickBooks, Gusto, ADP, Avalara or similar

naccounting, payroll and compliance technologies is an advantage.
