Qualification: Engineering Graduate / Diploma

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced AV Design Consultant with strong expertise in AV design, pre-sales and sales support.

The candidate will be responsible for:

- Understanding client requirements
- Conducting site surveys
- Preparing AV layouts and designs in AutoCAD 2D
- Selecting suitable AV products
- Preparing BOQs
- Preparing costing and techno-commercial proposals
- Supporting the sales team during client meetings and technical discussions
- Managing the end-to-end AV solution design and pre-sales process
- Supporting the process through deal closure and handover to the execution team

KEY FUNCTIONAL AREAS

- Independently handle client discussions and convert requirements into practical AV solutions.
- Manage end-to-end pre-sales activities including site surveys, solution design, BOQ preparation and proposals.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD 2D is mandatory.
- Robust understanding of real-world AV applications such as boardrooms, auditoriums, VC setups and enterprise environments.
- Create accurate, execution-ready designs with strong attention to detail.
- Balance cost, performance and client expectations through sound commercial judgment.
- Work closely with sales teams to drive opportunities and support deal closures.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES





- Understand client requirements and design customised AV solutions for corporate, commercial and enterprise environments.
- Prepare BOQs, system architectures and techno-commercial proposals based on project requirements and budgets.
- Support sales teams during client meetings, presentations, product demonstrations and technical consultations.
- Collaborate with OEMs and internal teams for product selection, pricing and solution feasibility.
- Conduct site surveys and provide pre-sales support, solution validation and technical documentation.
- Prepare AV layouts/designs using AutoCAD 2D and ensure designs are practical and execution-ready.
- Coordinate with execution teams for smooth project handover with clear scope, design and client expectations.
- Manage key accounts independently and provide technical support throughout the sales cycle.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- 7+ years of relevant experience in AV Design and Sales / Pre-Sales.
- Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD 2D.
- Experience in AV solution design, system architecture, BOQ, costing and techno-commercial proposals.
- Good knowledge of AV products and solutions from various OEMs.
- Experience in client handling, presentations, technical discussions and solution consultation.
- Understanding of AV applications across boardrooms, auditoriums, video conferencing and corporate environments.
- Strong techno-commercial acumen and ability to recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with sales, OEM and execution teams.

- Engineering Graduate / Diploma.
- Strong communication and client-handling skills.
- Product and solution knowledge across multiple AV OEMs.
- Ability to manage key accounts independently.
- Ownership mindset with a strong focus on business development and deal closure.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
