About the Role

Techdome is looking for an experienced Upwork Bidder / Business Development Executive to drive client acquisition across Web & App Development, UI/UX & Graphic Design, and Digital Marketing/SEO.

The ideal candidate should be skilled at identifying the right projects, writing personalized proposals, handling client communication, and converting leads into long-term clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and bid on relevant Upwork projects.

- Write customized, compelling proposals based on client requirements.

- Handle client communication from initial contact to project closure.

- Understand requirements and coordinate with technical/design/marketing teams for estimates and timelines.

- Optimize Upwork profiles, portfolios, and bidding strategies.

- Track bids, responses, conversions, revenue, and client retention.

- Negotiate scope, pricing, and timelines.

- Build strong relationships with international clients and generate repeat business.

Requirements

- 2+ years of Upwork bidding/BD experience, preferably in an IT services company or agency.





- Proven track record of winning projects and generating repeat business.

- Excellent written and verbal English communication.

- Robust proposal writing, negotiation, and client-handling skills.

- Good understanding of Upwork, Connects, and bidding strategies.

- Basic understanding of Web/App Development, UI/UX, and Digital Marketing/SEO.

- Experience with CRM or lead-tracking tools.

- Ability to work independently and meet revenue targets.

Good to Have

- Experience with Fiverr, Freelancer, PeoplePerHour, etc.

- LinkedIn Sales Navigator experience.

- Experience working with international clients and different time zones.

- Basic knowledge of project estimation and technical scoping.
