Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Unit Head / Plant Head with a solid background in food processing / FMCG manufacturing, preferably from organisations such as Britannia, Parle, or similar large-scale food companies. This role involves complete ownership of a wheat processing unit, including operations, procurement, team management, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end plant operations including production, milling, quality, and dispatch

- Drive high plant efficiency and capacity utilisation (>95%)

- Oversee raw material (wheat) procurement, inventory, and cost management

- Ensure seamless order fulfilment and coordination with sales and logistics teams

- Manage and develop plant workforce, ensuring productivity and engagement

- Maintain compliance with food safety, statutory, and regulatory requirements

- Drive profitability, margins, and cost optimisation initiatives

- Liaise with vendors, traders, and external stakeholders

Candidate Profile





- 10 to 20 years of experience in food processing / FMCG manufacturing

- Currently or previously working as Unit Head / Plant Head / Factory Head

- Strong preference for candidates from companies like Britannia, Parle, ITC Foods, Nestl, or similar

- Proven experience managing entire plant operations with P&L; responsibility

- Strong exposure to procurement, supply chain, and production planning

- Experience managing large plant teams (blue-collar + staff)
