Role Description The User Experience Designer will be responsible for designing intuitive, user-centered digital experiences that support Acumen Global’s education and career consulting services. This full-time, on-site role based in Kochi involves conducting user research, translating insights into user flows and wireframes, and creating interactive prototypes that improve the usability of web and mobile platforms.

The designer will collaborate closely with product owners, counselors, marketing teams, and developers to define requirements, iterate on design solutions, and ensure that interfaces are accessible and inclusive.



Daily tasks include refining visual layouts, maintaining design systems, testing designs with users, and incorporating feedback to optimize the overall experience for students and healthcare professionals engaging with Acumen Global’s services.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Design Thinking and User Experience (UX), with the ability to apply user-centered methodologies to solve complex problems.
- Proficiency in User Research, including conducting interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather actionable insights.
- Demonstrated skill in Visual Design, with experience creating clean, accessible interfaces and maintaining consistent design systems.
- Hands-on experience in Prototyping, using industry-standard tools to build and iterate on wireframes and interactive mockups.
- Familiarity with information architecture, interaction design principles, and responsive design for web and mobile products.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate design decisions clearly, and incorporate feedback constructively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in the education, career consulting, or healthcare sectors is an advantage, along with knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design practices.
