Role & responsibilities The candidate should have 12 16 years experience in maintenance & development of Moulds.

Responsible for making or improving different types of tools to enable the production processes within a manufacturing facility to be as efficient as possible. This may include jigs, fixtures, clamps or moulds to obtain a more robust consistently produced part that meets the specification of Manufacturing Team.

- To undertake estimation and costing of tools, moulds, labour cost and process cost.
- To ensure documentation and record keeping of tool room.
- To do the Vendor development and follow up.
- To prepare process planning, discussion and suggestion, for timely completion of projects.
- To Interact with customer for design, development, manufacture & modification of concerned projects.
- To implement storage of tools to facilitate highest standards within the department for positive housekeeping, health, safety and environmental
- To ensure all stock items, tool inserts and spares are organized





to oversee all work through the tool room efficiently and cost effectively and ensure that all target dates for tooling are met.
- To assit HOD in managing, coaching and developing a high performing tool room team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
- To monitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performance and record on appropriate systems.
- To consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviours expected of them.

To liaise and communicate with other departments, suppliers and other service providers

Preferred candidate profile

- Should have Diploma (Mechanical) or B.Tech (Mechanical)
- Professional : Diploma or PG in Tool & Die making from Tool Room & Training Centre or Equivalent will be preferred
- 12 - 16 years experience in maintenance & development of Molds.
- Candidates having experience in Footwear Industry will be given preference.
