: Tool Designer

- Should be able to understand Repair tooling requirements and prepare tooling concept designs, do follow-ups with various departments and be able to get customer reviews for the tooling concept designs
- Should identify and analyze the gaps at engine/module disassembly and assembly processes to improve speed and productivity
- Should work on to include new procedures, re-sequencing, alternate methods, tool redesign in NX CAD software or modification etc.
- Should author paperwork, develop technical drawings and specifications
- Should be able to work independently and responsible for own work and quality of deliverable with no supervision
- Candidate should be agile and quickly adopt to customer business needs

Job Requirements & Qualification:





- Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3-5 years of experience in Tool design
- Candidate should be proficient in NX CAD software
- Should have knowledge of Aero-engine components and MRO shop floor experience
- Candidate should have ability to understand technical data from OEM Engine Manuals and should be familiar with engine manual disassembly and assembly procedures
- Excellent knowledge & application of GD&T; as well as Tolerance stack-up for sub-assemblies & assemblies
- Should have solid knowledge on quality assurance Repair process planning and assembly- disassembly procedures
