Role Summary:

Our MNC client seeking an experienced and proactive Test Lead to join our offshore team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, in-depth knowledge of the banking domain, and expertise in both manual and automation testing. Experience with Japanese language is a plus. The Test Lead will be responsible for end-to-end test management, issue tracking, diligent follow-ups, management reporting, and effective team and stakeholder management.

/Responsibilities:

- Test Planning & Execution
- Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and schedules aligned with project requirements.
- Lead and execute both manual and automated testing activities across multiple projects.
- Ensure thorough test coverage and adherence to quality standards.

- Domain Expertise
- Leverage deep understanding of banking and financial services processes to design effective test scenarios.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure domain alignment.
- Issue Tracking & Resolution
- Closely monitor, track, and report defects and issues throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Diligently follow up with development and support teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.
- Communication & Reporting
- Provide clear, concise, and timely updates to management and stakeholders through regular reports and status meetings.
- Prepare and present management reports on test progress, quality metrics, and risk assessments.
- Team & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of testers,



fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Oversee resource allocation, workload distribution, and team development activities.

- Stakeholder Management
- Build robust working relationships with onshore/offshore teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Proactively manage expectations and address concerns to ensure alignment and satisfaction.

- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to optimize testing processes and tools.
- Promote best practices in quality assurance and testing methodologies.

Technical Skills (Mandatory):

- 6+ years of experience in software testing, including at least 2 years in a test lead or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of banking and financial services domain (mandatory).
- Proficiency in manual and automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, JMeter, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience in issue tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Demonstrated ability to track issues closely and follow up diligently until resolution.
- Proven experience in team management, people management, and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience working with Japanese clients or in Japanese business environments.
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- ISTQB/ CSTE or equivalent certification.
