Purpose of the Role

Is responsible for the sale of a Vegetable Crops Seeds in a specified region or geographical area with the management of supportive team

Position:



Territory Sales Manager – Vegetable Crops

Location: Muzaffarpur

Reporting: Regional Sales Manager – Vegetable Crops

Qualifications: BSc Agri/ MSc Agri

Experience: 5 to 8 years in Seed or any agri input industry in Seed Industry Sales and Marketing

Major Job Responsibilities

Maintain close contact with customers

Implement various farmer centric activities to promote various products

Plan various farmer connect activities in the assigned territory based on

Market requirement

Performance of the product

Appoint contractual workers/MDOs, train and motivate them to conduct various activities in the Vegetable

Responsible for MDO activity planning and tracking

Attend at-least 20% demand generation activities

Audit the effectiveness of these demand generation activities and accordingly suggest the correction

Ensure the required number of farmers are connected as per plan in PSA as well as PDAs

Maintain the list of farmers connected in various Vegetable activities

Attend product related customer calls and ensure proper follow up to close it

Identification and appointment of valuable channel partners in his assigned territory

Establish proper connect with retailers and ensure stock availability to those retailers

Ensure Channel partners are served properly

Order placement: Ensure proper placement, tracking of the stock to maximize sales through our channel partners

Ensure timely payment collection from the trade partners

Efficiently track POG @ retail level and inform to the manager on weekly basis

Provide time to time information on market and competition

Timely submission of travel and promotional bills

Perform various other activities assigned by the sales manager related to market/channel/customer

Liaison with local agriculture dept
