Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Terraform Engineer at PPStack. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform across cloud environments.

The Terraform

Engineer will create and manage reusable modules, write configuration files, define variables and outputs, and ensure secure, scalable infrastructure deployments. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with development and DevOps teams, integrating Terraform into CI/CD pipelines, performing workplace provisioning and updates, and troubleshooting infrastructure issues. The role also includes documenting infrastructure standards,



reviewing code for quality and compliance, and continuously optimizing infrastructure for reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency with Terraform, including module creation, state management, workspaces, and configuration best practices.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and related infrastructure services.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts, DevOps practices, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Experience with scripting or programming languages commonly used with Terraform (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments (VPCs, IAM, security groups, policies, encryption).
- Familiarity with configuration management and container technologies (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
- Ability to write clear technical documentation, follow version control workflows, and perform code reviews.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative team setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in EdTech, learning platforms, or technology consulting is a plus.
