Barwaha
To carry out installation, operation, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment to ensure uninterrupted plant operations while complying with electrical safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment in the distillery, bottling, utilities, and warehouse.
- Maintain motors, pumps, MCC panels, PCC panels, VFDs, transformers, switchgears, and control panels.
- Attend electrical breakdowns and restore equipment within the minimum possible time.
- Install and commission electrical equipment, cables, lighting, and control systems.
- Inspect electrical systems regularly and identify potential faults.
- Maintain DG sets, UPS systems, compressors, and utility electrical systems.
- Assist in calibration and maintenance of electrical instruments and control devices.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure proper earthing, cable management, and electrical housekeeping.
- Maintain electrical logbooks, maintenance records, and checklists.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams during shutdowns and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and Permit to Work (PTW) procedures.
- Support energy conservation initiatives and monitor power consumption.
- Follow all statutory requirements under the Electricity Act, Factory Rules, and company safety procedures.
Qualification
- ITI Electrician (Mandatory)
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Preferred)
Experience
- ITI: 3–6 years in a distillery, brewery, alcohol, chemical, FMCG,
or process industry.
- Diploma: 2–5 years in industrial electrical maintenance.

- Electrical maintenance of industrial equipment.

- Energy-saving practices.
