SDV Strategy & Roadmap

- Define TKM's SDV vision, roadmap, and execution plan in alignment with TMC and global Toyota strategy
- Translate business goals into prioritised SDV initiatives and milestones
- Drive phased execution across platform, applications, and lifecycle capabilities, benchmarking OEM strategies to keep the roadmap competitive

Cross-Functional Program Planning

- Identify priority SDV use cases (infotainment, OTA, digital key, VUI, connected services) with business, product, and engineering teams
- Define KPIs and success metrics, and ensure alignment across vehicle engineering, IT, and digital teams
- Establish program governance, milestones, and reporting mechanisms

SDV Architecture & Platform Planning

- Partner with engineering on SDV architecture (central compute, zonal, cloud integration) and the vehicle OS, middleware, API, and OTA stack
- Ensure alignment with global SDV platforms (Arene, QNX, Android, cloud ecosystems)
- Facilitate decoupling of hardware and software layers

Ecosystem & Partner Alignment

- Coordinate with global stakeholders (TMC, Woven, TMNA, TRI), Tier-1 suppliers (Denso, Panasonic, AISIN), and technology partners
- Drive joint roadmap planning and integration alignment across the partner ecosystem

Connected Operations & Lifecycle Management





- Define lifecycle capabilities: OTA updates, feature enablement/disablement, subscription models, and feature monetisation
- Establish frameworks for release management, feature rollout, and post-launch performance monitoring
- Use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement

Business Case & Value Realization

- Build ROI models covering cost reduction (ECU consolidation, software reuse) and new revenue (subscriptions, feature unlocks)
- Align the SDV roadmap with vehicle volumes, pricing strategy, and customer lifetime value

Capability Building

- Identify gaps and drive capability development in SDV engineering (embedded, cloud, DevOps), tools, and testing frameworks
- Support creation of SDV labs, prototyping, and simulation environments

You are a successful candidate if you:

- 10+ years in automotive product planning, program management, or strategy — preferably with OEM or Tier-1 experience in connected/SDV domains
- Bachelor’s in engineering (Computer Science, Electronics, or Automotive); MBA or equivalent business exposure preferred
- Understanding of SDV architecture — central compute, zonal ECUs, OTA, vehicle OS, and cloud integration concepts
- Experience driving cross-functional programs spanning business, engineering, IT, and digital teams across multiple stakeholders
- Proven ability to build and execute technology roadmaps aligned with global platforms and localised for regional markets




- Experience with connected-vehicle lifecycle management — OTA release planning, feature enablement, and post-launch performance analytics
- Business acumen to build ROI models — ECU consolidation savings, subscription revenue, feature monetisation, and lifecycle value
- Excellent stakeholder management and program governance — experience with Japanese OEM culture, global affiliates, and cross-region structures; able to define KPIs and report to senior leadership (familiarity with platform partnerships such as QNX, Android Automotive a plus)
