Yaanendriya is a deep-tech company building sensing, navigation and autonomy technologies for robotics, drones, defence, aerospace and industrial applications. Our products span inertial sensing, positioning, embedded compute, navigation and control, with advanced programs in inertial-aided navigation, perception and next-generation sensor technologies.

Role Purpose

We are looking for a technically strong, high-ownership Program Manager who can turn complex engineering work into predictable product outcomes. You will coordinate multiple concurrent programs across hardware, firmware, algorithms, mechanical systems, validation, suppliers, manufacturing and customer deployment - without becoming a process layer between the teams.

What You Will Own

- Multi-program execution: Own the integrated execution of multiple concurrent programs across INS / advanced navigation, perception, MEMS and sensing, embedded compute, positioning and related product initiatives.
- Program true north: Translate company priorities, customer commitments and product roadmaps into clear program outcomes, milestones, technical definition of done and measurable delivery plans.
- Integrated planning: Build and maintain critical-path plans across electronics, PCB/PCBA, firmware, algorithms, mechanical design, test infrastructure, procurement, manufacturing and field integration.
- Product development cadence: Use the right operating rhythm for the work - milestone and gate based execution for hardware/NPI, Agile methods for firmware/software where useful, and lightweight reviews that improve delivery rather than create bureaucracy.
- Requirements and interfaces: Drive clarity on requirements, subsystem interfaces, dependencies, assumptions, acceptance criteria and ownership across technical teams.
- Risk and dependency management: Identify technical, schedule, supplier, manufacturing, component, certification and customer-integration risks early; drive mitigation and recovery plans before they threaten delivery.
- Verification and validation: Ensure test plans, engineering validation, calibration, reliability checks, regression testing, customer acceptance criteria and evidence of completion are built into the program plan.
- NPI and manufacturing readiness: Coordinate prototype builds, design releases, BOM readiness, supplier actions, component availability, pilot builds, yield/rework issues and production release.
- Configuration and change control: Maintain discipline across PCB revisions, BOMs, firmware releases, algorithms,



calibration files, mechanical revisions, ECOs and release baselines so the correct product configuration reaches testing, manufacturing and customers.
- Customer program execution: Convert customer requirements, evaluations, pilots and field trials into engineering actions, committed milestones, acceptance plans and production readiness.
- Unblock progress: Resolve cross-functional issues through facilitation, ownership and timely escalation. Do not merely report a red status - build and drive the recovery plan.
- Capacity and priority management: Surface conflicts in engineering bandwidth, test infrastructure, procurement lead times and supplier capacity; help leadership make explicit priority and resource decisions.
- Continuous improvement: Run meaningful retrospectives and root-cause reviews using Lean methods such as 5 Why, 8D/CAPA thinking and waste elimination; improve the development system after every major learning.

What Success Looks Like

- Every active program has a clear owner, milestone plan, definition of done, critical path, top risks and next decision.
- Technical and resource conflicts become visible early rather than surfacing at the delivery deadline.
- Engineering prototypes move systematically into validated, manufacturable and supportable products.
- Customer and production commitments become increasingly predictable, with evidence-based status rather than optimistic reporting.
- The product-development process becomes faster and more disciplined without adding unnecessary documentation or meetings.

Must-Have Competencies

- Technical program ownership: Ability to coordinate complex physical-product development involving hardware, embedded firmware, software/algorithms, mechanical systems and manufacturing.
- Multiple-program management: Demonstrated ability to run several parallel workstreams while managing priorities, dependencies, shared resources and changing technical uncertainty.
- Physical product delivery: Evidence of having owned or materially driven at least one embedded/electronics/robotics/automotive/aerospace product or subsystem from development through validation and release/deployment.
- Systems thinking: Comfort with requirements decomposition, interfaces, technical trade-offs, change impact, traceability and end-to-end definition of done.
- NPD/NPI understanding: Working knowledge of prototype cycles, PCB/PCBA development, firmware releases, validation, suppliers/contract manufacturers and production readiness.
- Problem solving:



Strong structured problem-solving and root-cause orientation; capable of driving closure rather than coordinating meetings around unresolved issues.
- Communication and execution discipline: Communicate technical status crisply to founders, engineering teams, suppliers and customers; escalate with context and options; maintain strong follow-through, decision tracking and bias toward closure.

Experience & Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive, Computer Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 3-7 years of relevant experience is preferred. Candidates with lower experience will be considered if they demonstrate unusually strong ownership, technical depth and evidence of shipping complex products.
- Experience in embedded electronics, robotics, drones/UAVs, aerospace, defence, automotive, industrial automation, sensors or similar physical-product environments is strongly preferred.
- This is not a pure software/Scrum coordination role. Candidates should be comfortable working with engineering teams responsible for electronics, firmware, algorithms, testing and manufacturing.

Valuable to Have

- Exposure to IMUs, GNSS, INS/sensor fusion, perception systems, MEMS/sensors, embedded compute, navigation/control or autonomous systems.
- Working familiarity with DVP&R;, DFMEA/PFMEA, APQP/PPAP, 8D, CAPA, Lean/Six Sigma or similar quality/problem-solving frameworks.
- Exposure to ISO 9001, AS9100, Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262 or other structured development/quality environments.
- Experience using Jira/Confluence or equivalent tools for traceable program execution, risks, changes and decisions.
- Commercial awareness of BOM cost, NRE, engineering effort, prototype cost, supplier lead times, budgets and schedule impact.

Certifications PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum/Agile, SAFe, Lean Six Sigma or equivalent certifications are welcome but are not mandatory. Demonstrated product execution, technical judgement and ownership will carry significantly more weight than certifications alone.

The Profile We Are Looking For

You do not need to be the person designing the MEMS device, writing the INS filter or training the perception model. You do need enough technical depth to ask the right questions, understand dependencies and failure modes, challenge plans constructively, drive evidence-based decisions and ensure that the right work gets completed in the right order.

The strongest candidate will become the execution nerve-centre across advanced product programs - helping technical leaders stay focused on architecture and engineering while ensuring programs move from idea to validated product to customer deployment.

How we will evaluate candidates

We will look closely at products you have actually helped ship, difficult programs you recovered, how you handled cross-functional dependencies and whether you can show concrete ownership beyond status reporting.
