Role: Offshore Tech Lead

Location: Gurugram/ Bangalore

Work Mode: 5 days from office.

Key Role and Responsibilities

Lead a team of data engineers and BI developers, driving end-to-end delivery across the data management platform, Databricks engineering, and Power BI reporting initiatives.

Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, define solution roadmaps, prioritize workstreams, and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

- Own solution design, technical direction, and delivery governance while proactively resolving risks, dependencies, and technical challenges.
- Coordinate analysis, planning, and task allocation across the team, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery and operational excellence.
- Act as the primary client-facing technical leader, confidently presenting solutions, managing stakeholder expectations, and providing strategic guidance on platform evolution.

Must-Have Skills

12+ years of experience in data engineering and data platform delivery,



with proven experience leading teams of 10+ members in a client-facing environment.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Databricks, SQL, PySpark, contemporary data architecture, and Power BI, with the ability to review designs and guide technical decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage business leaders, conduct workshops, and present technical solutions in business terms.
- Strong solutioning, problem-solving, and delivery management capabilities, including roadmap planning, requirement analysis, estimation, and Agile execution.
- Proven ability to mentor teams, drive accountability, manage competing priorities, and successfully deliver large-scale data and reporting programs.
- Expert-level knowledge of Data Engineering
- Expert SQL skills and hands-on experience with modern data stacks Databricks
- Must have 4+ years of financial background.
