nRole Summary

nWe are seeking an experienced Technical Lead - Backend with strong expertise in Python, FastAPI, and Microsoft Azure to lead the design and development of scalable, cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will drive technical excellence, mentor engineering teams, define backend architecture, and deliver high-performance enterprise solutions using contemporary development practices.

nKey Responsibilities

- Lead backend architecture, design, and development using Python and FastAPI.

- Design and develop scalable, secure, and highly available RESTful APIs and microservices.
n
- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
n
- Drive technical design discussions, code reviews, and architecture governance.
n
- Mentor and guide development teams on best practices and coding standards.
n
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
n
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation for build, deployment, and monitoring.
n
- Ensure application security, performance, scalability, and reliability.
n
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide technical leadership.
n
- Define and enforce software engineering best practices and design patterns.

nMandatory Skills

- 10+ years of software development experience.
n
- Strong expertise in Python and FastAPI.
n
- Experience building REST APIs and Microservices Architecture.
n
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
n
- Strong knowledge of Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Key Vault.
n
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
n
- Expertise in CI/CD using Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions.
n
- Strong understanding of API security, OAuth2, JWT, and authentication mechanisms.
n
- Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, or similar databases.
n
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

- Event-driven architecture and messaging services.
