JOB SUMMARY
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to
our growth, we’re looking to add a Product Engineer - Engineering Change Order
Management (ECM) located in Chennai location.
Reports to the Manager, and the role involves,
What a typical day looks like:
* Handle a team of 10 – 15 Engineers.
* Efficiently manage ECO / PDM process for manufacturing sites across the globe
* Work closely with IT for Design & Engineering tools
* Conduct flawless transition of processes from sites
* Perform Quarterly / Annual performance appraisals for the team members.
* Ensure adherence to targets set for all Process Metrics
* Ensure timely generation and circulation of reports / dashboards.
* Mentor the team and guide them towards effective discharge of functions.
* Handle escalations if any, and escalate matters requiring the senior
management’s attention on a timely basis.
* Train new and existing team members on relevant tools or topics.
* Perform root cause analysis to expedite the resolution of service issues.
* Maintain excellent relationship with internal customers at site and with key
stakeholders in the organization
* Create and make professional presentations to Management and customers
* Identify, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies to drive
continuous improvement
* Lead Lean Six Sigma projects and have your team do the same
* Prepare Customized reports for analyzing and incorporating improvements in
processes
