About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled RF and Optical Communications Engineer to join our dynamic team at Vistance Networks. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, modeling, and validating complex RF and optical communication architectures that underpin our cutting-edge network solutions.

Your expertise will support the development of systems that ensure high-fidelity, low-noise performance across diverse communication channels. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate innovative solutions, optimize system performance, and contribute to the overall growth of our technological capabilities. Qualifications To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a strong foundation in optical and RF communication systems, with proficiency in engineering tools and programming languages. A thorough understanding of fiber optics,



optical components, analog optical transport, and system design concepts is essential.

Candidates should demonstrate advanced skills in Microsoft Visio for diagram creation, Excel for data analysis and modeling, and scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB for automation and simulation.

Experience with database design, system architecture development, and troubleshooting is also required. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in HFC and FTTx domains, along with a BTech or MTech degree in Engineering, is preferred.

Responsibilities

- Design, model, and validate RF communication architectures, including link budgets, modulation schemes, and interference mitigation strategies.
- Support the design and analysis of optical communication paths, including fiber-based analog transport systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Evaluate and optimize analog signal paths to maintain low-noise, high-fidelity performance across RF and optical domains.
- Create detailed block diagrams, system schematics, and workflow documentation using Microsoft Visio to communicate system designs effectively.
- Develop and maintain engineering spreadsheets for calculations, data analysis, and system modeling utilizing Microsoft Excel, incorporating formulas,



pivot tables, and data visualization.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration and alignment with project goals.
- Engage in troubleshooting and resolving system performance issues, providing technical guidance and documentation as needed.
- Contribute to the development of end-to-end system architecture, ensuring scalability and robustness of communication solutions.
