Sr. Operations Manager is responsible to direct and manage the day-to-day activities of an organization s operations and implement the right processes and practices across the organization. They are expected to be a responsible leader with an analytical and strategic mind and have a broad knowledge of the business.
Responsibilities
Ensuring all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
Improving operational management systems, processes and best practices
Helping the organization s processes remain legally compliant
Implement company policies, procedures, and initiatives
Evaluate and enhance current operational systems
Formulate strategic and operational objectives
Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
Manage budgets and forecasts
Perform quality controls and monitor KPIs
Recruit, train and oversee the team performance and ensure maximum productivity
Find ways to increase the quality of customer service




Monitor performance against current operational goals and develop reporting and auditing processes used to analyze operational effectiveness
Mentor and motivate teams to achieve productivity and engagement
Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided
Performs other related duties as assigned
Oversees the daily workflow of the department

Required Skills and Abilities
Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
Experience in budgeting and forecasting
Familiarity with business and financial principles
Excellent communication skills
Leadership ability
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with all business functions including HR, finance, and IT
Experience with implementing IT systems
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
