Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, design, and execution of end-to-end cloud migration initiatives from on-premises to AWS.
Create necessary documentation for microservice migration to cloud EKS.
Perform comprehensive cloud readiness assessments of existing infrastructure and applications, identifying dependencies, compatibility issues, and challenges.
Develop detailed migration roadmaps and define appropriate migration strategies based on workload analysis and business requirements.
Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform to automate deployments and standardize settings.
Design and document scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud architectures.
Collaborate with DevOps, security, network, and application development teams to ensure a smooth and seamless migration process.
Provide technical leadership, oversight, and mentorship to engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Implement and monitor security controls and enforce compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Optimize cloud workloads post-migration for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
