We are seeking a highly skilled, customer-focused, and data-driven leader to join our Supply Chain Planning Team.
This role owns the planning function itself: the logic, the parameters, the systems and the mechanisms. The successful candidate will work closely across the organisation-wide planning and finance functions to drive business value. This is a highly visible role where you will play an instrumental part in the whole planning and execution processes and contribute to the overall success of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- The planning logic end to end: open-to-buy liaison with Merchandising, buy depth and coverage targets, allocation and replenishment parameters, inbound flow plans, and the trade-offs between availability, inventory and freight cost.
- The S&OP; and S&OE; cadence: design and run the weekly supply/execution review and the monthly supply review that feeds the executive, including the exception logic that decides what actually reaches the table.
- People leadership: hire, coach and develop a team of A-players to drive the business through data and analytics.
- Product ownership of the data build: define and prioritize the metrics,
marts and planning views the analytics engineers build; ratify definitions on the Definitions Council; reject data products that do not change a decision.
- Buy-versus-build input: co-own the evidence base on whether we license a planning platform (Relex, o9, Blue Yonder class) or build planning logic in-house on our own data.
- ERP readiness for planning: ensure the planning logic and master data we operate on are documented and portable into the unified ERP rather than living in individuals’ files.
Requirements:
- 15–20 years in supply chain planning, customer fulfilment and inbound/supply planning in retail, fashion, e-commerce or omnichannel consumer goods, with a genuine P&L; or cost-line impact you can quantify.
- Direct experience owning an S&OP; or S&OE; cadence, including running the forum and driving decisions in it, not just contributing inputs.
- Demonstrable people leadership, including hiring, developing, and leading a planning and analytics team through periods of change.
- Experience at an omnichannel or rapid-fashion retailer.
- Track record of building or materially rebuilding a planning process, rather than administering a mature one.
