Position Overview

We are seeking a highly strategic and hands-on Supply Chain Manager to establish and lead the end-to-end supply chain function for our organization. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and institutionalizing supply chain policies, processes, and systems from the ground up. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in procurement, vendor management, logistics, inventory control, compliance, and technology adoption, while also aligning supply chain operations with the company’s long-term growth and sustainability objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Policy & Framework Development oDesign and implement comprehensive supply chain policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks.

oEstablish KPIs, reporting standards, and performance measurement tools.

oEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, sustainability mandates, and trade policies.

End-to-End Supply Chain Setup oDefine supply chain strategy aligned with organizational goals.

oBuild sourcing and procurement systems, including vendor onboarding and evaluation frameworks.

oDevelop demand forecasting, planning, and replenishment models.

oEnsure timely sourcing of materials and services, balancing quality and cost.

oEstablish logistics and distribution processes, including domestic and international shipments.

oSet up warehouse management standards, inventory control systems, and reverse logistics processes.

Stakeholder Collaboration oWork cross-functionally with production, sales, finance,



and operations teams to create integrated supply chain solutions.

oNegotiate contracts with suppliers, service providers, and logistics partners.

oBuild strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders for seamless execution.

Cost & Inventory Control oMonitor purchase and logistic budgets and work on cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

oCoordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure stock optimization.

oTrack procurement KPIs (lead time, cost variance, supplier performance).

MIS and Data Management oDesign, maintain, and improve MIS reports for procurement, cost analysis,

consumption trends, lead time, and vendor performance.

oEnsure real-time data accuracy across ERP/MRP/MIS platforms related to purchasing activities.

oDrive a culture of continuous improvement, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.

oGenerate periodic dashboards and analytical reports for management review

(e.g., purchase spend analysis, price variance, supplier scorecards).

oAutomate reporting processes to reduce manual errors and improve efficiency.

oProvide insights through data modeling, cost forecasting, and market trend analysis to support strategic sourcing.





oEnsure compliance with internal policies by maintaining audit-ready documentation in MIS.

Compliance & Risk Management oEnsure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

oManage stakeholder agreements, contracts, and legal obligations.

oMinimize procurement-related risks through proper documentation and audits.

Leadership & Team Building oCoach and mentor supply chain executives to build their negotiation and vendor management skills.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

(MBA preferred).

6–10 years of experience in procurement/purchasing, with leadership or supervisory exposure.

Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills.

Knowledge of market trends, material sourcing, and procurement technology tools.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Proven ability to implement cost-control and efficiency-improvement measures.
