Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Substation Coordinator to coordinate and monitor electrical substation activities for solar and renewable energy projects. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating between site teams, engineering, contractors, vendors, clients and management to ensure smooth and timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate day-to-day activities related to substation construction, installation, testing and commissioning.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, vendors and project management teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure activities are completed as per approved schedule.
- Follow up on electrical equipment installation, cabling, earthing, testing and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate for installation and testing of equipment such as Power Transformers, CT, PT/CVT, Circuit Breakers, Isolators, LA, Panels and other substation equipment.
- Coordinate with engineering teams for drawings, technical queries, revisions and approvals.
- Review and maintain project documentation, inspection reports, test reports, MOMs and daily/weekly progress reports.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for material delivery, site activities and pending work.
- Monitor site requirements and highlight delays, technical issues and material shortages to management.
- Coordinate with clients/consultants for inspections, approvals and site-related requirements.
- Support pre-commissioning, testing, energization and handover activities.




- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality requirements and safety procedures.
- Prepare and maintain MIS, progress reports and activity trackers.
- Participate in site meetings and prepare/maintain Minutes of Meeting (MOM).
- Coordinate shutdown, testing and commissioning activities wherever required.
- Ensure proper documentation and final handover of substation-related project documents.
- Perform other project coordination activities as assigned by the management.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in Substation / Solar / Renewable Energy / Transmission & Distribution projects.
- Good knowledge of electrical substation equipment and project execution.
- Positive knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS Office.
- Good communication, coordination and reporting skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in 11kV / 33kV / 66kV / 132kV / 220kV or higher voltage substations will be preferred.
- Experience in solar power evacuation/substation projects will be an advantage.
- Experience in testing, commissioning and energization activities will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
