Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer – Planning with strong expertise in Project Planning and Scheduling for Oil & Gas / Piping projects.
The candidate must have core Project Planning experience and hands-on expertise in project scheduling, progress monitoring, delay analysis, resource planning, MIS, and project reporting using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
Note: Candidates from industries other than Oil & Gas / Piping will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules and baseline plans.
Prepare project plans and schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
Monitor project progress and identify delays, deviations, and critical path activities.




Perform delay analysis and prepare mitigation and recovery plans.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, subcontractors, and project teams.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and MIS.
Monitor resource planning for manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Support preparation of cash flow statements and job cost reports.
Evaluate the impact of scope, resource, and schedule changes.
Maintain planning documentation and support timely project completion.

Requirements
B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 10 years of core Project Planning experience
Mandatory experience in Oil & Gas / Piping projects
Strong expertise in Project Planning and Scheduling
Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
Experience in baseline planning, critical path analysis, progress monitoring, and delay analysis
Experience in preparing MIS, progress reports, and planning documentation
