As a FOS Collection Executive, you will be responsible for visiting customer addresses, collecting payment updates, and maintaining accurate records. Your primary goal is to ensure a positive customer experience while efficiently managing the collections process. This role is integral to our company's financial operations and requires a high level of organization and communication skills.
Responsibilities
Visit customer addresses as assigned, ensuring a professional and courteous approach.
Collect payment updates, including cash, checks, or other agreed-upon methods.
Record and update customer payment information on our portal promptly.
Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and customer interactions.
Communicate with customers to understand their payment status and negotiate payment plans when necessary.
Follow up on overdue accounts and take appropriate action to recover payments.
Collaborate with the collections team to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
Provide regular reports on collection activities and customer payment trends.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining a high level of integrity.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in collections management.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
1-2 years of experience in a collections or customer-facing role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using MS Office and collections management software.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities and schedules.
A valid driver's license and a reliable mode of transportation.
Basic understanding of financial concepts and payment processing.
Willingness to undergo training and career development.
