Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Academic Mentor (Hosteller) to guide, support, and mentor students residing in the hostel. The mentor will ensure students maintain academic discipline, follow daily routines, and receive the motivation and support needed to achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Mentor and monitor hostel students' academic progress and overall well-being.
- Ensure students follow the daily study schedule and hostel discipline.
- Conduct study sessions, doubt-clearing, and revision support.
- Motivate students to improve academic performance and maintain consistent study habits.
- Track attendance, performance, and behavioural progress.
- Coordinate with faculty, parents, and hostel management regarding student development.
- Organize academic and motivational activities within the hostel.
- Address student concerns and provide timely guidance and support.
- Maintain reports on student performance and hostel activities.

Qualifications




- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- Prior experience in mentoring, teaching, or student management is an added advantage.
- Freshers with strong communication and mentoring skills may also apply.

Skills Required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Robust mentoring and counselling abilities.
- Leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage students in a residential environment.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office/Google Workspace).

Working Conditions
- Residential (Hosteller) role with accommodation provided by the organization.
- Willingness to stay in the hostel and support students beyond regular academic hours when required.
