Electrical Operation in Shift: To carry out operation and work in Electrical Systems of Line-1, Line-2 and Line-3 electrical equipment.

Condition monitoring and operation of 110KV Switchyard while in breakdown or interruption during export of power to grid - Condition monitoring and operation of Power and Distribution transformers while in breakdown or interruption - Synchronization and Load control of plant TGs, DGs and Grid systems - Electrical operation and troubleshooting in 6.6KV panel boards (50 Nos. of HT panel in 3 location), 415Volt Panel boards (24nos).

- Electrical operation and troubleshooting in VFD and UPS systems - Troubleshooting of Motors (600Nos) while in breakdown or abnormal operation - Adhering to Electrical Safety standards and ensure maximum availability of electrical equipment for plant operations. To monitor and attend fire alarm systems for safety of cable cellar and buildings - To attend the problems in Master batch

Page Break electrical equipment and system - To attend the problems in Packing machines - To report Section Head and Department Head for any breakdown of the plant and daily status reporting of plant

Coordination with TNEB officials: To work with TNEB officials-110KV SS-2 and 230KV SS-1 for export of power to grid.

To communicate the status of power plant and power generation and export- daily/ shift wise - To coordinate with TNEB officials while power export interruption is taking place for immediate re-start of power.

System Management Record maintenance of Electrical department in conformance with Electrical Safety standard, IATF 16949, ISO: 14001, &

OHSAS 18001

Carrying out LOTO (Lock out and Tag out) operation for isolation of electrical energy and maintain records.

- To update shift operation records including shift log books in line to IATF quality management systems - Maintaining daily power generation,



export and plant power consumption records and reporting to Section Head and Department Head (data in manual / on line network for report generation and record keeping).

Spares Inventory Management To maintain spares in MCC rooms

Monitoring of consumption of spare regularly to initiate actions and to maintain inventory level required for immediate rectification of problems in MCC room ( for fuses, relays, contactors).

- Disposal of failed and electronic components regularly.

Safety : To provide knowledge and train workmen for Statutory Electrical compliance and ensure Electrical safety standard being followed To explain electrical maintenance crew which take maintenance work in feeders/ transformers/ UPS/ VFD etc., and give clearance after providing LOTO and permits.
- Resuming the maintenance feeders for continuity of operation after completing maintenance of system - Ensure operation of the system electrically secure during the above jobs.

Extended responsibility in Electrical Operation in Shift: To carry out operation and work in Electrical Systems of Line-4A and Line-4B in addition to Line-1, Line-2 and Line-3 electrical equipment.

Condition monitoring and operation of extension of 110KV Switchyard including exiting Switchyard while in breakdown or interruption during export of power to grid - Condition monitoring and operation of 35MVA Power and Distribution transformers- 5nos while in breakdown or interruption - Synchronization and Load control of plant 27MW TG with existing TGs, DGs and Grid systems - Electrical operation and troubleshooting in 6.6KV panel boards (40 Nos. of HT panel in 3 location), 415Volt Panel boards (9nos).

- Electrical operation and troubleshooting in High Voltage VFD and UPS systems in addition to existing LV VFDs and UPS.
- Troubleshooting of Motors (200Nos) while in breakdown or abnormal operation in addition to existing - Adhering to Electrical Safety standards and ensure maximum availability of electrical equipment for plant operations.
- To monitor and attend fire alarm systems for safety of cable cellar and buildings
- To report Section Head and Department Head for any

breakdown of the plant and daily status reporting of plant
