About the Role:

This role is for someone who wants to own SEO, not just run it.

Pill, you will dig into the data, find the chance, build the plan, execute it, and stand in front of the client to explain why it matters. The pace is fast, with multiple brands and priorities moving at once, and the opportunity is real: driving measurable growth for brands at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

On-Page, Technical & Off-Page Execution

- Run technical and on-page audits and own the fixes, site structure, internal linking, metadata, schema, and page speed.

- Drive off-page and link-building strategies focused on quality and relevance, not volume.

- Build and monitor high-quality backlinks where needed.

- Shape content briefs and optimise content for search, working closely with the content team.

Analytics & Reporting

- Track rankings, traffic, and conversions, and diagnose the "why" behind performance shifts, not just report the numbers.

- Stay ahead of algorithm updates and industry shifts, and translate them into timely strategy changes.

Client Communication & Ownership

- Act as the day-to-day SEO point of contact, building real trust with clients.

- Present reports and recommendations in a way clients can actually act on.

- Lead client conversations with confidence; explain, defend, and adapt the strategy as needed.

- Handle feedback and change requests with maturity,



and manage timeline expectations honestly.

Requirements

- 2 to 5 years of hands-on SEO experience, with agency experience strongly preferred.

- A proven track record of executing SEO campaigns and delivering measurable organic growth.

- Strong working knowledge of tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.

- Solid understanding of technical SEO, on-page SEO, and link-building practices.

- Demonstrated habit of staying current with algorithm updates and industry trends and applying them to live accounts.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to present to and manage clients directly.

- Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities without losing quality or attention to detail.

- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus.
