We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to build scalable, high-performance backend systems and contribute to the development of AI-powered, agentic applications for the banking and financial services domain.

The ideal candidate will have strong Python fundamentals, hands-on expertise in FastAPI and RESTful API development , and an interest in emerging AI technologies including LLMs, AI agents, and agent orchestration frameworks .

Requirements Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Python
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI
- Build reliable, secure, scalable, and maintainable backend services
- Design and implement API integrations, authentication, and service-to-service communication
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop AI-powered and agentic applications
- Integrate backend services with databases, caching systems, LLMs, and other AI components
- Contribute to agent orchestration and AI workflow implementation
- Write clean, efficient, testable, and maintainable Python code following engineering best practices
- Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and resource utilization
- Troubleshoot backend issues and contribute to effective technical solutions
- Work with MongoDB, Redis, and SQL databases as required
- Support containerized application development and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes
- Follow modern Git-based development, testing, code review, and deployment practices




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver production-ready solutions

What Makes You a Outstanding Fit

- 6+ years of experience in Python backend development, with strong hands-on experience building production-grade applications
- Excellent understanding of Core Python, Object-Oriented Programming, collections, exception handling, and Python memory management
- Strong knowledge of multi-threading and multi-processing and their appropriate use cases
- Ability to write optimized, effective, clean, scalable, and maintainable Python code
- Strong hands-on experience with FastAPI and RESTful API development
- Solid understanding of API design, integration, authentication, scalability, and backend architecture
- Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-powered application development
- Understanding of AI agents, agentic application architecture, and agent orchestration concepts
- Experience or exposure to LangChain, LangGraph, or similar AI frameworks is highly desirable
- Basic understanding of prompt engineering and AI-driven workflows
- Experience with MongoDB and Redis is an advantage
- Positive knowledge of SQL databases and database integration
- Experience with Docker and containerization
- Understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration is a plus
- Familiarity with Git and modern software development workflows
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to emerging AI and backend technologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in Banking, FinTech, financial services, or customer support applications is an advantage
