The Microbiologist is responsible for performing laboratory tests to identify microorganisms, ensuring accurate diagnosis, supporting infection control practices, and maintaining quality standards in the laboratory.
Perform microbiological testing of clinical samples (blood, urine, sputum, pus, etc.)
Conduct culture, identification, and antibiotic sensitivity testing
Analyze and interpret laboratory results accurately
Maintain proper documentation and reporting of test results
Ensure adherence to laboratory quality standards (NABL/NABH protocols)
Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
Follow biosafety and infection control guidelines strictly
Assist in preparation of antibiograms and infection surveillance data
Coordinate with doctors and clinical staff for patient diagnosis and treatment support
Supervise lab technicians and ensure proper workflow (for senior roles)
Participate in audits, quality improvement, and accreditation processes

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
