Key Responsibilities
On-Page Optimization
Conducting keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or SEMrush to find high-traffic, low-competition terms.
Optimizing website elements including Meta Titles, Meta Descriptions, Header Tags (H1-H6), and Alt Text for images.
Assisting in content creation by providing SEO guidelines to writers and ensuring keyword density remains natural.
Off-Page & Link Building
Identifying prospects for high-quality backlinks through guest posting, directory submissions, and resource pages.
Assisting in competitor backlink analysis to identify potential link-building prospects.
Monitoring the website’s backlink profile to identify and disavow "spammy" links.
Technical SEO Support
Performing basic site audits to identify issues like broken links (404 errors), slow page speeds, and mobile responsiveness.
Ensuring the XML Sitemap and Robots.txt files are properly configured for search engine crawling.
Collaborating with web developers to implement technical fixes.
Reporting & Analytics




Monitoring website performance using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console.
Tracking keyword rankings and organic traffic growth on a weekly/monthly basis.
Compiling data for performance reports to demonstrate ROI and progress to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Knowledge: Basic understanding of how search engines work (Crawling, Indexing, and Ranking).
Tools: Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and basic SEO tools (e.g., Moz, Ubersuggest).
Soft Skills: Robust analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent written communication skills.
Technical: Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress is a plus.
