Core Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and wiring.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and blueprints.
Carry out wiring for buildings, panels, and machines.
Test electrical systems using tools like multimeters and meggers.
Identify faults and troubleshoot electrical problems.
Maintenance Work
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
Ensure proper functioning of motors, transformers, and control panels.
Replace damaged wires, switches, sockets, and circuit breakers.
Maintain records of maintenance and repairs.
Installation Duties
Install electrical panels, lighting systems, and power distribution systems.
Connect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components.
Assist in installation of machinery and equipment.
Other Duties
Work with engineers and supervisors for project execution.
Assist in energy-saving and efficiency improvements.
Handle emergency repairs and breakdowns.
Maintain tools and equipment in valuable condition.
