Job Summary

A reputed hotel in Bengaluru is hiring a Commis I - Bakery to support bakery operations. The role involves assisting in preparation of baked goods, maintaining quality and hygiene standards, and supporting daily kitchen activities.

Also known as: Baker / Bakery Cook / Commis (Bakery Section)

Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparation of bakery items such as bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts.
Support senior chefs in daily bakery operations.
Perform mise-en-place and basic baking preparations.
Ensure consistency in quality, taste, and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery section.
Follow food safety standards and kitchen SOPs.
Assist in proper storage of ingredients and finished products.
Support buffet, banquet,



and à la carte dessert requirements.

Skills & Requirements
Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
Willingness to learn and develop bakery skills.
Attention to detail in preparation and presentation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
Prior bakery or hotel kitchen experience is an advantage; freshers may also apply.
