Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Sr. Mould Designer to join our engineering team in Bhosari, Pune. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing moulds using Siemens NX, ensuring that all designs meet technical, quality, cost, and manufacturing requirements.

The role requires strong knowledge of mould design principles, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.

Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool Engineering, or a related discipline
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in mould design
- Proficiency in Siemens NX
- Strong understanding of mould design principles and manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T;, and design standards
- Familiarity with machining, tooling, and production processes
- Robust technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop injection moulds and related tooling using Siemens NX
- Prepare detailed 3D models,



2D drawings, and design documentation
- Review customer requirements and convert them into practical mould designs
- Ensure designs are suitable for manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, and production
- Coordinate with manufacturing, machining, quality, and project teams throughout the design and development process
- Conduct design reviews and incorporate necessary modifications
- Identify and resolve design-related issues during development and production
- Ensure compliance with applicable technical standards and customer specifications
- Support troubleshooting, design improvements, and engineering changes
- Maintain accurate design records and documentation
