We are looking for a motivated, goal-oriented Entry-Level Freight Broker to join our growing logistics team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in transportation and sales. No prior freight brokerage experience is required — we provide training and mentorship to help you succeed.
As a Freight Broker, you will connect shippers who need to move freight with reliable carriers who can transport it safely and efficiently. This is a fast-paced, high-energy role with strong earning potential.
Responsibilities:
Learn the fundamentals of freight brokerage and logistics operations
Prospect and develop current shipper relationships through calls and outreach
Build and maintain relationships with trucking carriers
Negotiate freight rates with shippers and carriers
Coordinate and track shipments from pickup to delivery
Resolve any issues that arise during transport
Maintain accurate records in our Transportation Management System (TMS)
Qualifications:
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Comfortable making outbound calls (sales-oriented mindset)
Self-motivated and competitive
Ability to multitask in a rapid-paced environment
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree is a plus)
