Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Database installation, configuration, and upgrades (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).




Log Monitoring/Analyst, Troubleshooting, system monitoring
Support daily monitoring of database performance and system health.
Participate in data backup and restore operations as per defined policies.
Help implement database security measures including user roles, privileges, and auditing.
Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to query performance, deadlocks, and blocking sessions.
Support patch management and maintenance activities.
Maintain documentation related to database configurations and procedures.

Skills:
Basic understanding of RDBMS concepts (tables, indexes, joins, normalization, transactions).
Familiarity with SQL and PL/SQL or T-SQL scripting.
Knowledge of database utilities and tools for Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Automation & Scripting: Shell Scripting, PowerShell, CI/CD Scripting, Infrastructure Automation
