Key Responsibilities
Perform X-ray imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians
Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
Operate X-ray equipment and ensure proper exposure settings
Maintain patient safety by following radiation protection protocols
Ensure accurate patient records and documentation of procedures
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
Maintain and inspect imaging equipment to ensure proper functioning
Follow infection control and hygiene standards
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized imaging department
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or Medical Imaging
Valid certification/licensure as required by local regulatory authorities
Proven experience as an X-ray Technician (preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles)
Knowledge of radiographic techniques and safety procedures
Familiarity with digital imaging systems and PACS
Salary Range
Depends on experience, qualifications.
