Position Summary

The EHS Executive is responsible for implementing and monitoring all Setting, Health & Safety activities at the high-rise residential construction site. The role ensures compliance with statutory regulations, company safety standards, and client requirements to maintain a safe and healthy working setting.

Key Responsibilities

Safety Management
Implement site-specific EHS plans, procedures, and safety policies.
Conduct daily site safety inspections and hazard identification.
Ensure compliance with work permit systems such as:
Height work permit
Hot work permit
Excavation permit
Electrical isolation permit
Confined space permit
Monitor high-risk construction activities including:
Work at height
Tower crane operations
Material lifting
Scaffolding activities
Formwork & shuttering
Concrete pouring
Excavation work

Compliance & Documentation




Maintain all EHS records, reports, checklists, and statutory documents.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, safety regulations, and environmental norms.
Prepare:
Daily/weekly/monthly safety reports
Incident reports
Near-miss reports
Toolbox talk records
Safety audit reports
Coordinate with government authorities and client safety representatives during inspections.

Training & Awareness
Conduct:
Safety induction training
Toolbox talks
Mock drills
Emergency response training
Promote safety awareness among workers, staff, and subcontractors.
Ensure workers use proper PPE at all times.

Emergency Preparedness
Develop and implement emergency response procedures.
Coordinate fire prevention and firefighting arrangements.
Ensure availability and inspection of:
Fire extinguishers
First aid boxes
Emergency rescue equipment
Safety signage
