About the Role

Key Responsibilities
Perform Argon (TIG) welding on various metal components and fabricated assemblies.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
Set up and operate TIG welding equipment safely and efficiently.
Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting.
Inspect welded joints for quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy.
Repair and rework defective welds as required.
Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper functioning.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality standards.
Coordinate with fabrication, production, and quality teams to meet production targets.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry regulations.





Required Skills & Competencies
Robust expertise in Argon/TIG Welding.
Knowledge of welding techniques for Stainless Steel (SS), Mild Steel (MS), and Aluminum.
Ability to read technical drawings and fabrication layouts.
Familiarity with welding symbols and measurements.
Knowledge of welding tools, machines, and safety practices.
Positive hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Educational Qualification
ITI (Welder/Fitter) preferred.
Relevant welding certifications will be an added advantage.

Experience Required
Minimum 2 years to maximum 10 years of experience in Argon/TIG Welding.
Experience in fabrication, sheet metal, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial equipment industries preferred.
Skilled in precision welding and finishing.
Ability to handle production targets and quality requirements.
