Pharmacist Job Description

A Pharmacist is a licensed healthcare professional responsible for preparing, dispensing, and managing medications while ensuring secure and effective use of pharmaceutical products. Key Responsibilities

Review and dispense prescriptions accurately and safely. Provide medication counseling and educate patients on proper usage and potential side effects.

Maintain patient medication records and ensure confidentiality. Monitor drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications.

Manage inventory, storage, and ordering of pharmaceutical products. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and professional standards.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff when required. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree (B.Pharm,



Pharm.D, or equivalent). Valid pharmacist license or registration as required by local regulations.

Knowledge of pharmacology, pharmaceutical calculations, and medication safety. Skills and Competencies Robust attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Hospitals and healthcare facilities. Retail and community pharmacies.

Clinical research organizations and pharmaceutical companies. Government and regulatory agencies.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
