Role Overview:A Video Editor is responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished product suitable forbroadcasting, publishing, or online platforms. The role involves creative storytelling, technical editingskills, and collaboration with directors, producers, or content teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging content
Trim clips, add transitions, effects, and sound elements
Collaborate with directors, producers, and content creators
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth flow of videos
Add music, voiceovers, subtitles, and graphics
Colour correct and enhance video quality
Manage and organize video files and assets
Meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality output
Adapt content for different platforms (YouTube, social media, ads, etc.)

Qualifications & Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communication, or related field (optional)
Proven experience as a video editor or similar role.
Portfolio showcasing editing skills and past work.




Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinciResolve.
Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression.
Knowledge of motion graphics and tools like Adobe After Effects.
Basic knowledge of audio editing and sound design.
