Responsibilities:
Lesson Planning & Instruction:
Develop and deliver lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
Use a variety of teaching methods (lectures, discussions, projects, multimedia) to engage students.
Adapt lessons to cater to diverse learning needs, including students with special educational needs.
Classroom Management:
Maintain a positive, respectful classroom environment.
Manage student behavior and enforce classroom rules.
Foster student engagement and critical thinking through group activities and discussions.
Assessment & Evaluation:
Assess student progress through tests, quizzes, projects, and presentations.
Provide constructive feedback to students.
Keep records of grades and performance, ensuring documentation is up to date.
Collaboration & Communication:
Collaborate with other teachers to integrate interdisciplinary learning.
Communicate regularly with parents about student progress.
Participate in faculty meetings and career development workshops.
Career development:
Stay current on developments in social sciences and educational practices.
Extracurricular Activities:
Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Sciences, History, or a related field; a teaching certification is often required.
Experience: Previous teaching experience is preferred but not always necessary, especially for entry-level positions.
Skills: Solid communication, organizational skills, and the ability to motivate and engage students.
Passion for the Subject: A deep understanding of social sciences and a passion for teaching students about societal issues and human behavior.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
