Job Summary

We are looking for experienced accounting professionals with strong expertise in Record-to-Report (R2R), General Ledger, General Accounting, month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting .

The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals, hands-on experience in R2R processes, and the ability to independently manage accounting activities while working effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) and General Ledger accounting activities .
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, provisions, and other accounting adjustments.
- Perform account and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Analyze and resolve accounting discrepancies and outstanding items.
- Prepare and review financial reports and supporting schedules.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely closure of accounting activities.
- Maintain compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients/stakeholders for accounting-related queries and resolutions.
- Identify process gaps and contribute to process improvement initiatives.




- Prepare and maintain process documentation and work instructions.
- Support knowledge sharing and provide guidance to team members where required.
- For SME-level roles, take ownership of complex accounting activities and provide subject matter expertise to the team.
- Support transition, process stabilization, and continuous improvement activities as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in R2R / General Ledger / General Accounting .
- Strong hands-on experience in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Good knowledge of journal entries, accruals, provisions, and account reconciliations.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel .
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage activities within defined timelines.
- Experience in client coordination is an advantage.
- Experience with Oracle, M3, or Yardi is preferred.
- Experience in process improvement, transition, or team support is an advantage for SME-level candidates.

Key Requirement This role is specifically focused on R2R, General Ledger, and General Accounting .

Candidates whose primary experience is in Accounts Receivable (AR) or Accounts Payable (AP) will not be considered for this requirement.
