About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MySQL Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, managing, and optimizing our database systems to ensure high performance, data integrity, and security. Your expertise will support critical business applications and enable efficient data management practices across the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and security protocols, contributing to the continuous improvement of our data infrastructure.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience with MySQL database architecture and administration is essential. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, developing stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.

A solid understanding of database design principles, normalization, indexing, and backup/recovery processes is required. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, will be advantageous. Additional knowledge of related technologies and databases, such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server, is preferred.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain MySQL databases and associated database objects such as tables, indexes, and relationships.
- Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures,



functions, and triggers to support application requirements.
- Develop and implement efficient database schemas that ensure data consistency and integrity.
- Monitor database performance, analyze query execution plans, and perform tuning activities to enhance system efficiency.
- Ensure data security by implementing access controls, encryption, and other security measures.
- Perform routine database backup, recovery, and maintenance activities to prevent data loss and ensure availability.
- Identify and troubleshoot database-related issues, providing prompt resolutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with software developers and application teams to facilitate seamless database integration and support.
- Assist in database migration, upgrades, and deployment activities to keep systems current and effective.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation detailing database structures, processes, and best practices.
- Implement and enforce database security policies and access management protocols.
