Execute all design and engineering activities within the company. N
Play significant role in current designs from the concept stage to the development of prototypes through to finished products ready for manufacture N
Ensure design projects are completed on time and within budget. N
Implement design processes andbest practices to improve efficiency and quality. N
Collaborate withother departments to ensuredesign requirements are met. N
Conduct research and development to stay current with industry advancements. N
Maintain design and engineering documentation. N
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. N
Create a range of 3D models for a few proposal/production and development systems, products, and components using CAD N
Responsibility for the handling of all design and engineering documentation including Request forDesign freeze/release, DesignFailure N
Mode Effect Analysis (DFMEA), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), DesignVerification/Product Validation (DV & PV) testing. N
Present design, costs, changes and budgetary information effectively to senior members and customers and provide regular progress updates N
Liaise closely with alldepartments to fully understand design requirements N
Manage customer relationships and handle customer inquiries related to design anddevelopment. N
Provide technical support to manufacturing, salesand customer servicedepartments. N
