Role Description The Speech Therapist will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children with speech, language, and communication disorders at Ignitio’s on-site centre in Hyderabad. This full-time role involves conducting standardized and informal evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, and delivering one-on-one and small group therapy sessions.

The Speech

Therapist will collaborate closely with caregivers and a multidisciplinary team, including behavior and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated intervention plans. Daily responsibilities include documenting progress, adjusting goals based on outcomes, educating families on home-based activities, and participating in case discussions and review meetings.



The role also involves maintaining ethical and professional standards of practice and contributing to the continuous improvement of therapy programs.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Speech Therapy, including assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based intervention.
- Candidates should possess expertise in managing Speech and Language Disorders, with the ability to address articulation, fluency, and expressive/receptive language challenges.
- Candidates should possess skills in identifying and treating Communication Disorders, including social communication and pragmatic language difficulties.
- Candidates should possess knowledge and clinical skills in evaluating and treating Dysphagia, with an understanding of safe feeding and swallowing practices.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Relevant professional registration or licensure as required by local regulations.
- Experience working with children in pediatric or child development settings is highly beneficial.
- Strong observational, documentation, and case management skills, with attention to detail and outcome tracking.
- Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with children, families, and colleagues, and to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
