Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Principal Solutions Architect with deep expertise in banking and capital markets technology to lead the end-to-end technical direction of a major digital transformation program. In this role, you will interface directly with senior client stakeholders, define target-state architectures, and drive the modernization of legacy financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Architecture &
- Strategy:

Define the target-state architecture, technical roadmaps, and strategic blueprints for legacy platform replacement and modernization.

- Platform Evaluation:

Lead comprehensive Build vs. Buy vs. Customize analysis, system selections, and vendor platform evaluations across core banking and trading ecosystems.

- Modernization &

- Migration:

Design robust enterprise integration frameworks, API strategies, and phased migration roadmaps for complex, distributed environments.

- Stakeholder Management:





Serve as the primary technical advisor to C-suite and senior business stakeholders, translating business goals into resilient technical solutions.

- Execution Oversight:

Take end-to-end ownership of solution integrity, compliance, and architectural governance throughout the transformation lifecycle.

Core Qualifications &

- Skills

- Domain Expertise (Mandatory):

12+ years of hands-on technology leadership across Core Banking, Back-Office, Capital Markets, Trading Systems, Order Management Systems (OMS), Post-Trade, or Treasury.

- Modernization Mastery:

Proven track record in legacy system replacement, distributed architecture design, and enterprise integration (APIs, microservices, cloud-enabled architectures).

- Consulting &
- Leadership:

Exceptional client-facing presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to negotiate technical decisions with C-level executives.

- Regional Experience (Preferred):

Prior experience delivering digital banking or capital markets projects within the UAE/GCC region and working with local regulatory standards.
