Key Responsibilities

- Automation Framework Design:

Architect, build, and maintain scalable, multi-layer test automation frameworks for web and backend services from scratch.

- API Testing &
- Automation:

Lead hands-on API testing and automation (REST/SOAP) using Robot Framework, Postman, or specialized Python/Java libraries.

- UI &

- Web Automation:

Drive cross-browser web testing strategy using Selenium and Playwright, creating reusable test scripts and modular libraries.

- Database &

- Data Validation:

Design and execute complex SQL queries for database testing, verifying data integrity, backend transformations, and ETL processes.

- CI/CD Integration:

Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) for rapid continuous testing.

- Technical Leadership &

- Mentorship:

Guide junior and mid-level engineers on automation best practices, perform code reviews, and drive QA processes across agile development teams.

Required Skills &

- Qualifications

- Experience:

9–12 years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance with a heavy focus on automation engineering.

- API Automation:





Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end API testing (RESTful, GraphQL, SOAP) and building API automation suites.

- Frameworks &
- Tools:

Proven hands-on mastery in:

- Robot Framework

(Keyword-driven test suites)

- Selenium

&

Playwright

(Web UI testing)

- Postman / REST Assured

- Database Testing:

Advanced SQL skills to query, validate, and troubleshoot backend databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server).

- Programming Languages:

Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.

- DevOps &

- CI/CD:

Hands-on experience integrating tests into CI/CD workflows and containerized environments (Docker).

- Process &

- Strategy:

Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, test estimation, test strategy design, and defect management tools (Jira).

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with performance or load testing tools (JMeter, Locust, k6).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave).
