Dhanam is looking for a hands-on software engineer to strengthen testing, release quality, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and application security across Dhanam One and related digital platforms.

This is not a fresher role. The candidate must have worked on live applications in a fast-moving startup, SaaS, fintech, or product environment, and should be comfortable handling tight deadlines, production issues, changing priorities, and urgent business requirements.

Candidates must be comfortable working under tight timelines and handling live production issues responsibly. Internship-only experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities

- Independently test web applications, APIs, integrations, and critical business workflows before release.
- Create test cases and build automated API, regression, and end-to-end test coverage.
- Support production releases, investigate defects, analyse logs, and coordinate fixes quickly.
- Maintain cloud environments, Linux servers, Docker containers, domains, SSL, backups, monitoring, alerts, and deployment pipelines.
- Improve CI/CD, release checklists, rollback plans, environment controls, and technical documentation.
- Implement secure practices including role-based access, audit logs, secure authentication, encryption, secrets management,



and API security.
- Identify security gaps, carry out basic vulnerability checks, and help close audit or penetration-test findings.
- Support backend/API development, integration debugging, and database troubleshooting when needed.
- Work with the development team on Dhanam One, Dhanamfin, lending, HRMS, expense, document, payment, and locker-related systems.

Mandatory requirements

- At least 1 year of full-time professional experience; candidates with 2–3 years in a startup or high-pressure product environment are preferred.
- Experience handling live deployments, urgent bug fixes, or production incidents.
- Strong manual testing and working knowledge of automated testing.
- API testing using Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, or similar tools.
- Experience with Git, Linux, Docker, CI/CD, and at least one cloud platform—preferably AWS.
- Backend understanding in Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, or .NET.
- Strong SQL/database troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of authentication, RBAC, logs, OWASP basics, backups, and secure API practices.
- Transparent communication, ownership, and ability to work without needing step-by-step supervision.
