About OLTOWNSOLTOWNS is building a technology-enabled organized retail ecosystem across Tier-2, Tier-3, and rural India through supermarkets, quick commerce, retail technology, and supply chain innovation.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Software Engineer Interns who want to work on real-world technology products and gain hands-on experience in software development.

Job SummaryAs a Software Engineer Intern, you will work closely with our technology team on live projects involving web applications, APIs, databases, automation, and retail technology solutions.

This is a hands-on role where you will get the prospect to write code, debug applications, build features, work with APIs, and contribute to production-oriented projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Develop and integrate APIs and backend services.
- Work with databases and perform basic data operations.
- Build and enhance web application features.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues.
- Participate in code reviews and testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product, and operations teams.
- Document technical processes and solutions.
- Learn and adopt modern development tools and technologies.
- Support automation and technology initiatives across OLTOWNS.

Educational Qualification
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Software Engineering




- Computer Engineering
- Electronics & Communication
- or a related technical field.

Who Can Apply?

Preferred Technical SkillsCandidates with knowledge of any of the following will be preferred:
- Programming: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, C#, or similar.
- Frontend: React.js, HTML, CSS.
- Backend: Node.js, .NET, Python, or similar frameworks.
- Database: SQL / MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB.
- APIs: REST APIs and API integration.
- Tools: Git, GitHub, VS Code, Postman.
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies is an advantage.
